Service Description
Running for office places you in the public eye quickly. Whether you’re responding to reporters, speaking at community events, answering questions online, or navigating difficult conversations with residents, clear communication matters. This 90-minute virtual session is designed specifically for municipal candidates preparing for the realities of campaign communication. Led by former television journalist and current spokesperson Monica Hudon, the session combines practical media insight with real-world communication strategies used by public leaders and organizations across Canada. Participants will learn how media interviews work, how to prepare for difficult or unexpected questions, how to stay calm under pressure, and how to communicate clearly and confidently in public-facing situations. The session is practical, supportive, and scenario-based, focused on helping candidates feel more prepared and confident throughout the campaign period. Participation can remain low-profile or anonymous if preferred.
